Hi!  My name is Riddick and I am quite the special boy!  Unfortunately, when my former humans had a baby, they realized they no longer had the necessary time to spend with me.  Thankfully, HMDD took me in.  HMDD promised to help me find my special forever home.  I was born blind so it is important my forever home be a home where I will not be left alone for long periods of time.  I will do best in a home without small children, but a canine sibling would be great for me ‘cause I get along great with other dogs.  I have adjusted quite well to life.  My foster parents have told me I am an awesome gentle giant!  I am quickly learning my basic commands by sound.  Heck, I’ve even mastered the steps!  It just takes me a little longer to learn my way around.  Do you like to go for walks?  I love to go for walks and I walk very nicely on my leash.  I’m a Dobe and that makes me super smart and eager to please.  Hey guess what?  My foster parents took me to “Daycare”.  It was really cool.  I adjusted quickly and I even made some new friends.  I love to play chase in the yard – all foster mom has to do is slap her hand against her thigh and I can catch her every time.  I absolutely love everyone I meet.  When we meet each other at the adoption event, I am certain you will fall in love with me!!
