If you look up “Copper”, (that’s me!), in the dictionary, it will read - tall, handsome, incredibly intelligent, stunning personality, practically perfect in every way and oh sooo very Velcro!  It’s hard to imagine just exactly how I became a lonely stray.  I hated not having someone to pet me.  I especially hated my belly growling all the time!  I thank my lucky Dober stars everyday that I was rescued by HMDD.  Now I get all the attention a boy could want and then I get some more - it’s awesome.  I even get 3 meals a day with in-between meal snacks.  I am definitely a Velcro boy so trust me…you will never be lonely once you adopt me.  I am a perfect gentleman in the house, know all my commands and walk very nicely on my leash.  I am super duper smart – yep I can open doors to let myself out!  If you don’t have a fenced yard, you will need to keep the screen door locked at all times.  I get along great with my foster canine siblings.  I even love my foster cat siblings.  Baby Edward, (one of the kitties), always makes sure my ears are clean!  I never ever need to be crated.  Foster mom and dad crated me the first time they left the house after fostering me and guess what?   Yep, I “removed” the doors from my crate and bloodied my nose!  I greeted them at the back door and told them not to crate me anymore.  I absolutely love everyone I meet.  In fact, my best friend is Cambria.  She is 3 years old.  I like to swing with her on the glider out back.  She even picks flowers for me to wear in my collar.  (Don’t tell, but I love to play “dress-up”!!)  All I need now is to find my forever home.  I hope you can come to the next adoption event ‘cause I know you will fall in love with me once you meet me.  You should probably bring your car ‘cause I love to go for car rides.  Just look for the tall handsome guy with red hair - that’s me - Copper!!
