I’ve been sittin’ here all afternoon in my recliner just thinking and thinking…well…I finally came up with it!  Yep, my New Year’s Resolution!  Mine is to find my loving forever home!  What’s yours?  Oh yeah my name is Cirrus!!  I think your New Year’s Resolution should be to adopt me!  Did you see how handsome I am now?  Lots of good groceries and a ton of love is what made the difference for me.  I love attention and follow foster mom everywhere.  She says I am velvety soft, especially my ears.  I know all my basic commands and will promptly shake your hand to introduce myself.  I am potty trained and have perfect manners in the house.  Yep, no bad dog here!  No need to crate me either.  Stick me in one of “those” and I will bloody my face and nose and pretty much go crazy.  Just leave me free in the house and I’ll just take a nap, (preferably in the recliner), while you are gone.  I have learned to play with toys thanks to my 4 canine siblings.  It’s totally cool!  I went to the toy store the other day and bought a new toy, (oh yeah and some snacks too).  I was a really good boy and let all kinds of people pet me.  I love to run and run and run.  I will be a great running, hiking, or walking partner.  I do need to run several times a day to burn off my puppy energy.  I will do best with a physical fence and definitely no cats.  My forever home needs to be a cat free zone.  I almost forgot to tell you…no food left on the counters and no open trash.  Sometimes I just can’t help myself…it smells sooo good.  I guess it goes back to my unfortunate days of being nearly starved to death.  I sure hope you can come to the next adoption event.  I can’t think of a better way to ring in 2011 than by celebrating at my forever home!!
