Anni is a 5  year old black and tan female with cropped ears and docked tail .

Happy wiggles…happy wiggles!!!  Yep – that’s me and my name is Anni.  I am so happy now that I have been rescued by HMDD.  I was a very lonely stray with nowhere to go and no one to love me.  Oh yeah, I had a nasty boo boo on my toe.  It was so bad the vet had to amputate my toe.  Turns out is was a nasty fungal infection, (Cryptococcus).  I never heard of that before!  All I know is that my foot feels so much better. I know you wanna ask if I can walk ok less one toe, the answer is a big YES. I have no problems at all.  I heard my surgery was very expensive. I only have a few more weeks of treatment and will be ready to move out of my foster home in October but you will be able to meet me at the adoption event in September.

  I love my humans very much. I get along great with other dogs big and small , but I prefer human company. You know I am a sophisticated kinda girl. So if you are looking for a playmate for your dog, that won't be me. However... if you want a best friend, I am the companion for you. Foster mom says I am a tick on her side and it isn't a bad thing. As long as you are touching me I am a happy girl. I love meeting new people and have my way of getting close as I can to them. I first sit about a foot from them, then I slowly "side step" inch by inch until I am right next them them. Foster mom says I make her smile all the time at the silly things I do. One last thing about me that I have to tell you... I do this thing called the Dober dinner dance. Yes I dance for my dinner. What can I say.. I love dinnertime.
