When she first came
to live with me I was afraid she would be cold at night because we live
in a big old house that isn't always the warmest,
so she slept in an old long john shirt of mine. She was always anxious
to get it on because it meant her peanut butter Kong was on the way. She
would even lift her front legs to hurry me up in putting it on! She
really loved riding in the truck! The first time she looked out the back
window and saw the trailer she barked like crazy. I think she thought we
were being followed by something horrible. She worried about that for
several minutes, even though we tried to assure her that it was okay!
She loved our weekend trips to horse shows or agility trials. She
especially loved that we often stopped at Dairy Queen and she got a 'kiddie
cone' all to herself.
I
want to thank everyone that had a hand in Emily's welfare. She was truly
deserving and eternally grateful. I want you all to know that I love her
dearly and miss her so much already. Even though our time together was
not long enough, I feel so privileged to have had her in my daily life.
Rest well sweet Emmy - We Love You!
