Aaron

Back in 2004, we fostered a very sick young man named Aaron. After months of treatment, we just simply could not give him up. We were eventually allowed to adopt our loving Aaron. Aaron was diagnosed with Dilated Cardiomyopothy in September of 2007. Aaron had the very best hospice care for 3 months. Sadly, on December 7, 2007, the vet came to the house to put Aaron down as we would not allow him to suffer. We were despondent. Christmas was a very sad affair last year. However, we mustered up our very best brave selves and decided to foster in Aaron's memory. Since January of this year, we have helped in one way or another, whether it be fostering, transporting and even pulling from a shelter a total of 14 dogs. These 14 dogs may very well have died without our help. I am certain Aaron is looking down from Heaven with a smile on his face knowing it was all because of him. I am sure he is very proud of us.
