Hey to all! My name is Ice (I'm the white one). Just wanted to let you know that I've FINALLY!!! found my "forever" home. It sure did take a long time getting here. I definitely moved around alot before coming to HMDD. You all took me in, sent me to RICI and my new family picked me up right after the last day of class in February 2008. I was really scared when I first met them! Not only did Mom & Dad come to pick me up but they brought my new brother, Jasper, with them (he's the black one). You might remember him as Junior. He came to live with Mom and Dad from HMDD a little over 2 years ago I've been told.

 

Since I came to live with Mom & Dad I was diagnosed with Addison's and I'm told that if my folks hadn't have taken me to the doctor when they did I probably wouldn't be here with them. (I think I like it here so I'm glad I didn't have to go someplace else!) I really like my doctor and his staff. Because of being sick I have to go see them every 5 weeks. Hugs, kisses and even dog treats whenever I want them! They treat me and my brother really GREAT!!!

 

I love playing!!!! Tugging with the rope is my favorite game. Jasper is great to play with. He and I jump, tumble and romp a whole lot. Jasper has lost some weight and gained a lot of muscle since I've arrived. He weighs about 105 and I'm around 70. They say 70 is a good weight for me. We also get kongs with cheese or peanut butter every couple of days!

 

I almost forgot... we also have 2 feline sisters. They're okay but Jasper is more fun to play with.

 

Mom and Dad say I still have a lot of puppy in me even though I'm 2. My activity level is really high and I get excited over almost everything. It seems that when I get still I'm going to miss something really great .... missed enough the first 16 months of my life don't want to miss anything more!!!
